The Gathering Spot, a Modern Business and Social Club, Launches First Location Near Atlanta’s Central Business District

The Gathering Spot, an innovative, private, members-only business and social club, launches today to cater to highly motivated professionals, entrepreneurs and creatives that seek a work and socializing alternative to traditional city or country clubs, startup incubators and co-working spaces.

Opening its first location in the U.S. near Atlanta’s central business district, The Gathering Spot provides a 24/7 business and social environment, complete with stimulating events, concierge services, integrated technology and a full-service restaurant and bar. Founded by business partners and Georgetown graduates Ryan Wilson and TK Petersen, The Gathering Spot is for individuals who share a focus and commitment to their work and deeply desire to collaborate with a connected community, regardless of their field.

An Atlanta Launch, A Nationwide Vision

Located in Atlanta’s Northyards development and opening in November 2015, The Gathering Spot capitalizes on a proximity to the city’s central business district, including Downtown, Midtown, Westside and Georgia Institute of Technology. With an initial launch in Atlanta, the company plans to expand to similar city centers across the country with large populations of an upwardly mobile workforce. In the coming weeks, the company expects to be in a position to announce funding, which will go in part to the extensive development of its first location.

Though the official grand opening is three months away, The Gathering Spot is currently accepting membership applications, beginning with its Founding 50. The Founding 50 members will be formally recognized with a plaque inside the facility and will gain exclusive access to events and the club’s amenities.
