CHRIS 180 is seeking a fundraising professional to lead the organization’s annual giving strategy and stewardship efforts. This role will be responsible for stewarding a donor base of 2,000+ and a database of over 15,000 past stakeholders.
Job Summary
This position will guide and direct the strategy, development, and execution of annual and long-range plans for segmented direct fundraising to active and lapsed donors, event donors, as well as prospective donors, using a variety of methods which attain both donor revenue and cost goals. Includes direct donor fundraising communications, integrated direct response methods, donor prospect identification, peer-to-peer fundraising efforts, and managing outside consultants. This position is also responsible for all donor communications including monthly email newsletters, printed quarterly newsletter, email communications, email event invitations and updates, and will conceptualize and create additional content in partnership with members of the Development and Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities and Results include the following

Key Result #1 – 40%
In collaboration with the Development Director, guide and direct the strategy and execution of CHRIS 180 annual giving program through consultant and staff coordination
Lead and supervise all annual giving direct donor fundraising communications pertaining to donors of less than $1,000
Supervise and direct the integrated use of a variety of direct response methods including but not limited to direct mail, email, telephone (coordinate direct response methods using radio, internet and digital channels with Marketing Team).
Manage consultant relationships charged with the execution of integrated direct response fundraising campaigns
Key Result #2 – 20%
Expand CHRIS 180’s base and mid-level donor base through donor prospecting and acquisition activities (mid-level donor range is $1,000-$4,999)
Design and test donor prospecting efforts that expand CHRIS 180’s reach to new audiences across channels
Plan and execute effective acquisition campaigns
Expand use of DIY peer-to-peer fundraising (through everydayhero) by assisting the Development team with recruiting, coaching, and stewarding participants, updating individual fundraising websites, and shareable content
Provide strategic leadership for a donor-centric mid-level fundraising program, working closely with the Major Gift Officer, Director of Development and Chief Development Officer
Contribute to the major gift prospect pipeline.
Key Result #3 – 35%
Continue a culture of donor appreciation through high impact donor communications, stewardship activities and gift acknowledgement
Assure maximum retention and long-term engagement of donors
Guide, direct, and execute strategy for stewardship and gift acknowledgement processes for annual giving and mid-level donors
Develop and execute an effective stewardship communications plan for annual giving and mid-level donors
Key Responsibilities – 5%

Skills, Education, Experience:
Nonprofit professional with at least 3-5 years of experience with leading and implementing an annual giving program with a focus on direct response marketing
Demonstrated success with donor prospecting and donor acquisition
Bachelor’s degree preferred
High proficiency in Raiser’s Edge preferred
Direct mail experience strongly preferred
iWave experience preferred
Luminate Online experience preferred
Attention to detail and excellence in written communications
Track record of successfully executing tasks toward goal
Demonstrate trustworthiness and responsible behavior
Attendance is critical to this position, requiring punctuality and dependability
Ability to work in a team setting
Must be willing to continually learn in area of expertise
Ability to work both independently without close oversight and be a team player who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within and outside of CHRIS 180
TRAVEL:
10% of the time for events, vendor visits as needed

● To concept creative ideas for videos in line with the client’s brand, once vision has been cast by Creative Director.
● To edit and animate all required needs for PullSpark’s graphic design needs including social media,
marketing materials and templates for videos.
● To work with editors to develop look and feel for videos
● Responsible for meeting client’s deadlines
● Responsible for workflow across all campaigns and projects
● Work with leadership to anticipate and resolve internal team and client issues as they are identified, and utilize the support of the leadership team as needed.
● Identify and foster new contractors when help is needed
● To work with the Producer team at managing the timelines of producing, concepting,
● To adhere to budgets laid out by the Producer team for post production
